Front Catalytic Converter

Install a NEW gaskets (2), catalytic converter bracket (3), and loosely install the catalytic converter bracket bolts (1) to align the gasket. Tighten he catalytic converter bracket bolts to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the catalytic converter into the catalytic converter bracket.

Install the upper catalytic converter to cylinder head bolts (1) and tighten upper catalytic converter to cylinder head bolts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the crossunder pipe. Refer to PIPE, EXHAUST CROSSUNDER, INSTALLATION .
Install the upstream and down stream oxygen sensors. Refer to SENSOR, OXYGEN, INSTALLATION .
Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. Make the necessary adjustments, if needed.
Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
