Pipe, Exhaust CROSSUNDER: Installation

1. Install a NEW  crossunder pipe gasket (1) onto the crossunder pipe flange.

2. Install a NEW  front catalytic converter gasket (1) onto the front catalytic converter.

3. Install the crossunder pipe (4) and tighten the crossunder pipe support bracket bolts (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
4. Install the rear catalytic converter to crossunder pipe bolts (1) and tighten the catalytic converter to crossunder pipe bolts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
5. Install the front catalytic converter to crossunder pipe bolts (3) and tighten the catalytic converter to crossunder pipe bolts (3) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .

6. Install the rear crossunder pipe to exhaust resonator nuts (1) and tighten the rear crossunder pipe to exhaust resonator nuts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
7. Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. A minimum of 25.4 mm (1.0 in.) is required between the exhaust system components and body/frame parts. Make the necessary adjustments, if needed.
8. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
9. Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary. Refer to LEAK TESTING  .
