Handle, Exterior: Removal

  1. Open sliding door.
  2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .
  3. Position the interior door handle aside. Refer to HANDLE, INTERIOR, REMOVAL .

  2. Remove four mounting nuts (1) to outer handle.

  3. Remove handle from vehicle and disengage cables (1, 2 and 3) to exterior handle.
  4. If equipped with passive entry, disconnect the wire harness connector.
