Panel, Door Trim: Removal

  1. Using a trim stick or equivalent, remove the speaker cover (1).

    (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick)

  2. Remove the fasteners (1) and remove the speaker (2). Disconnect the electrical connector.

  3. Remove the switch assembly (1) and disconnect the electrical connectors (2).

  4. Remove the release handle trim (1).
  5. Remove the interior door handle. Refer to HANDLE, INTERIOR, REMOVAL .

  6. Remove the pull cup liner (1).
  7. Remove the pull cup fastener (2) and fastener (3).

  8. Remove the fasteners (1 and 2).

  9. Disconnect electrical connector from the Low Frequency (LF) antenna (2).

  10. Release the trim panel (1) from the door. If equipped, disconnect the wire harness connector and remove the trim panel.

  11. Remove the fasteners (2) and remove the map pocket (1).

  12. Using a trim stick or equivalent, remove the lower trim (1).
