Cylinder, Door Lock: Removal
- Remove the exterior handle. Refer to HANDLE, INTERIOR, REMOVAL .
- Remove the bolt (2) securing the lock cylinder.
- Remove the lock cylinder (1) by turning it counterclockwise and releasing the tab.
- Release the retaining clip (1) from the lock cylinder and remove it.
- Fit the key (1a) into the lock cylinder (1b). Hold the support (1c) and press the lever (1d) in the direction shown in illustration by the arrow; turn the key (1a) clockwise to allow the lock cylinder (1b) to be removed. When the lock cylinder has been removed, release the lever (1c) slowly so that it does not come out of the housing.
