Linkage, Wiper Arm: Removal

NOTE:

The wiper linkage module includes the wiper motor.

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove both wiper arms from the wiper pivots. Refer to ARM, WIPER, REMOVAL .
Remove the cowl plenum cover/grille panels from over the wiper linkage module. Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, REMOVAL .
Disconnect the wire harness connector from the connector receptacle for the wiper motor (2).
Disengage the wire harness retainer from the linkage module bracket.
Remove the three screws (1) that secure the module bracket to the dash panel.
Remove the wiper linkage module from the dash panel as a unit.
