TENSIONER, Belt: Installation: 5.7L/6.4L

  1. Align locator tang on tensioner with slot in front cover.
  2. Install tensioner and mounting bolt (3) to front cover. Tighten bolt to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS GAS  .
  3. Install accessory drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION  .
  4. Install the air intake system. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION (5.7L) or BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION (6.4L) .
  5. Connect the negative battery.
