The purpose of the diagnostic is to monitor the park sense circuit. The RF Hub supplies B (+) on the park circuit to the Body Control Module (BCM). When the transmission is in park, the TCM will send a signal over the CAN C bus to the BCM that the transmission is in Park. When the BCM receives this signal, the park sense circuit is pulled low, indicating to the RF Hub that the transmission is in Park.
