Fascia, Rear: Removal

Remove the wheel opening flare molding (1). Refer to MOLDING, REAR WHEEL OPENING, REMOVAL .

Open the rear liftgate (1).
Remove the lower retainers (4) at the rear support beam.
Remove the fasteners (5) at the back sides of the quarter panels, in the liftgate opening.
Remove the fasteners (3) on both sides at the wheel well openings.

If equipped with wiring harness connector (3), disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Release the integral latch features at the sides (5) and along the back (4) and separate the fascia (1) from the vehicle.
If equipped, disconnect the body harness electrical connector (3) and remove the fascia.
If necessary and equipped, remove the park assist sensors (6). Refer to SENSOR, PARK ASSIST, REMOVAL .
If necessary and equipped, remove the blind spot sensors (2). Refer to SENSOR, BLIND SPOT, REMOVAL .
If necessary and equipped, remove the electrical wiring harness from the rear fascia.
