Audio/Video/Entertainment/Connectivity (Service Information): Amplifier: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the left quarter trim panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect any wire harness connectors (1) from the amplifier.

  4. Remove the mounting fasteners (2) (3).
  5. Remove the retainers (1) from the amplifier bracket (2).

  6. Remove the amplifier (3).
