Fascia, Front: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s) (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE, REMOVAL ).
  2. Separate the hood seal (1).
  3. Remove the fasteners (3) and position the side closeout panels (2) aside.

  4. Release the upper grille clips (1).

  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  6. Remove the fasteners (1) from both sides.

  7. Remove the rivets (1) and the fasteners (2) from both sides.

  8. Release the fasteners and position the wheel moldings (1) aside.

  9. Remove the rivets (2).
  10. Remove the lower fasteners (1).

  11. Disconnect the wire harness connectors to the fascia.
  12. Release the fascia (1) from the headlamp brackets (3) and the fender attachment clips (4).
  13. Remove the fascia assembly (1).
