Sensor, Air Temperature, Intake: Removal: 3.6L

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL
.
- Disconnect the Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Clean dirt from the air inlet tube at the IAT sensor base.
- Gently lift the small plastic release tab and rotate the sensor (1) about 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and remove the sensor from the inlet air hose.
- The IAT sensor O-ring can be reused if not damaged.
