Bank 2 Solenoid 2

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the cowl extension. Refer to SILENCER, COWL EXTENSION, REMOVAL .

  3. Position the rear engine wire harness (1) aside.

  4. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the Variable Valve Lift (VVL) solenoid.
  5. Remove the VVL solenoid retaining bolt (2).
  6. Remove the VVL solenoid from the cylinder head.
  7. The O-ring seal can be reused if not damaged.
