Silencer, Cowl Extension: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove the wiper linkage module. Refer to LINKAGE, WIPER ARM, REMOVAL .
Remove the fastener (3) that secures the side extensions (2 and 5) to the center cowl extension (1).
Remove the screws that secure the side extensions to the line carrier brackets and remove the extensions.

Remove the bolts (5) securing the center cowl extension (4) to the inboard pivot bolt bracket (1).
Remove the bolts (2) that secure the inboard pivot bolt bracket to the vehicle (3), and remove the bracket.

Remove the four bolts (4) that secure the cowl extension to the body.
Remove the cowl extension (1).
