Latch, Hood: Installation

Connect the hood latch cable (2) and the wire harness connector (1) to the hood latch.
Position the hood latch to the upper radiator crossmember and loosely install the fasteners (3) that secure the latch to the crossmember.
Align the hood latch to the upper radiator crossmember using the reference marks made during the removal procedure and tighten the bolts to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Position the closeout panel back and install the push pin fasteners (1).
If required, adjust the hood to the correct position. Refer to GAP AND FLUSH, SPECIFICATIONS .
