Window Regulator: Removal

  1. Remove the door waterdam and speaker, if equipped. (Refer to BODY/DOORS-REAR/WATERDAM-REMOVAL  )
  2. Remove the inner beltline weatherstrip. (Refer to REMOVAL )
  3. Remove the outer beltline weatherstrip. (Refer to REMOVAL \)
  4. Lower the door glass.
  5. Remove the bolts attaching the regulator to the glass.
  6. Raise the glass manually and secure in the door frame with tape or equivalent.
  7. Loosen the regulator attachment nuts and remove the regulator attachment bolts.
  8. Disengage regulator wire harness.
  9. Remove the regulator (Fig 1 ).
