Exterior Handle: Removal

  1. Remove trim panel. (Refer to BODY/DOORS-REAR/TRIM PANEL-REMOVAL  )
  2. Peel back waterdam to access outside handle.
  3. Remove glass run channel. (Refer to BODY/DOORS-REAR/GLASS RUN CHANNEL-REMOVAL  )
  4. Disconnect latch rod (Fig 1 ).
  5. Remove nuts attaching handle to outer door panel (Figure ).
  6. Separate outside handle from rear door.
