Section 64 (Doors - Rear): Door: Adjustments: In/Out

NOTE:
In/out door adjustment is done by loosening the hinge to door fasteners for the front of the door and loosening the latch striker for the rear of the door. Then move the door to the correct position.
- Support door on a suitable lifting device.
- Loosen the applicable hinge to door fasteners.
- Move the front of the door to the correct in/out position. (Refer to SPECIFICATIONS -- GAP AND FLUSH )
- If necessary, loosen the other hinge to door fasteners and move the door to the correct in/out position.
- Tighten the hinge to door fasteners to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
- Close the door and check the rear in/out position.
- Loosen the latch striker screws and adjust the rear in/out position. (Refer to SPECIFICATIONS -- GAP AND FLUSH )
- Tighten the latch striker screws to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.)
