Air Bag Control Module (ACM): Installation

Connect ACM wire harness connector to ACM. Position ACM on locating pins with arrow on ACM housing pointing forward. Install ACM retaining screws and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. DO NOT connect negative battery cable at this time. Perform air bag system check to ensure air bag system is functioning properly. See AIR BAG SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK.
