Removal & Installation (4.7L)

  1. Power steering pressure switch is located in pressure line near power steering pump. See Fig 1. Disconnect electrical connector at power steering pressure switch.
  2. Place small container below power steering pressure switch to collect power steering fluid. Remove power steering pressure switch from pressure line while using a back-up wrench to prevent damage to pressure line.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten power steering pressure switch to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check and fill power steering pump with Mopar ATF+4 fluid as necessary.
