Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect electrical wiring connector at solenoid. Disconnect vacuum harness at solenoid.
  2. Remove 2 support bracket mounting nuts. Remove solenoid and its support bracket from vehicle.
  3. For installation, position EVAP canister purge solenoid and its mounting bracket. Install mounting nuts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect vacuum harness and wiring connector.
