HIGH BEAM INDICATOR OUTPUT SHORTED TO BATTERY - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

| 1 | Turn the ignition on. With the DRBIII(R), erase all CTM DTCs. Turn the headlamps on. Actuate the High Beams. With the DRBIII(R), read CTM DTCs. Does the DRBIII(R) display HIGH BEAM INDICATOR OUTPUT SHORTED TO BATTERY?

| 2 | Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the CTM C1 harness connector. Disconnect the Instrument Cluster C2 harness connector. Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary. Measure the voltage of the High Beam Indicator Driver circuit. Does voltage measure above 1.0 volts?
