Diagnostic Procedure

BLOWER NOT ON HIGH - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

TEST ACTION
1 Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII(R), read HVAC DTCs.
Does the DRBIII(R) display any HVAC DTCs?
  1. Yes --> Return to the symptom list and choose the symptom(s). After the repair is complete, with the DRBIII(R), erase the DTC(s). Cycle the ignition switch. Start the engine. Set the blower control to high speed. With the DRBIII(R), actuate the Cooldown Test.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1  .

  2. No --> Go To 2
2 Was the blower control set to high speed the entire time the Cooldown Test was actuated?
  1. Yes --> Check the blower motor and related circuits for blower operation problems. Repair as necessary. After repair is complete, start the engine. Set the blower control to high speed. With the DRBIII(R), actuate the Cooldown Test.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1  .

  2. No --> Start the engine. Set the blower control to high speed. With the DRBIII(R), actuate the Cooldown Test.
