Diagnostic Procedure

CMTC INTERNAL FAILURE - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

TEST ACTION
1 Perform the CMTC Self Test.
Turn the ignition off.
Press and hold the STEP and the RESET buttons.
Turn the ignition on.
NOTE: The CMTC Self Test can also be performed using the DRBIII(R).

Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII(R), select Auto Self Test.
Observe the DRBIII(R) or the CMTC display following the Self Test.
When the trouble code CMTC INTERNAL FAILURE is displayed, View repair.
If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
  1. Repair
    1. Replace and program the CMTC in accordance with the service information.
    2. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1  .
