Ensure that the PCI Bus is operating correctly.
NOTE:
Diagnose and repair any PCM or Communication DTCs before proceeding.
NOTE:
If condition concerns Average Fuel, or Distance to Empty; Ensure that the CMTC is programmed to the correct fuel tank capacity. With the DRBIII(R), select Body, Compass Mini-Trip, Miscellaneous, then Calibrate Fuel Tank.
NOTE:
If the Average Fuel Economy or Distance To Empty is incorrect, it may be due to inaccurate data received from the PCM. These values may also be perceived as wrong due to poor testing methods by the operator. If all the possible causes above are operating properly, view repair.
