CHIME INOPERATIVE AT ALL TIMES - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

TEST	ACTION
1	Turn the ignition on. Close both doors. With the DRBIII(R), actuate the Chime. (CTM actuator) Does the chime sound when actuated by the DRB? Yes --> The chime operates as it should. Check other reasons for the chime being inoperative and select from the symptom list. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . No --> Replace the Central Timer Module in accordance with the Service Information. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 .

Turn the ignition on.
Close both doors.

Does the chime sound when actuated by the DRB?

Yes --> The chime operates as it should. Check other reasons for the chime being inoperative and select from the symptom list.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 .
No --> Replace the Central Timer Module in accordance with the Service Information.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 .
