Diagnostic Test

FUEL SYSTEM OR IGNITION SYSTEM DTCS PRESENT
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, view DTCs.
  Are there any fuel or ignition system DTCs present?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the diagnostics for the fuel or ignition system related DTC(s) before proceeding with this diagnostic procedure. Refer to DTC INDEX - 1500 .
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  No
  - Go To 2
PERFORM THE ENGINE CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START
1. Perform the ENGINE CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
  Were any problems found?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the appropriate repair.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  No
  - Perform the ETC INTERMITTENT NO CRANK CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
