    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. With the scan tool, record all Freeze frame data.
    3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
    4. Turn the ignition off for 75 seconds.
    5. Turn the ignition on, run the engine to operating temperature
      NOTE:

It may be necessary to drive the vehicle under normal conditions to activate the SCR system.

    6. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

      Did the DTC reset?

      Yes

      • Go To  2

      No

      • Perform to the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT DTC .
  2. SCR RELAY #1
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Replace the SCR Relay #1 (in the Auxiliary Power Distribution Center) with a known good relay.
    3. Turn the ignition on.
    4. With the scan tool, erase DTCs in the PCM.
    5. Turn the ignition on, run the engine to operating temperature
      NOTE:

It may be necessary to drive the vehicle under normal conditions to activate the SCR system.

    6. With the scan tool, select View DTCs.

      Did the DTC return?

      Yes

      • Go To  3

      No

      • Replace the SCR Relay #1 in accordance with the service information.
      • Perform the PCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .
  3. CHECK THE DEF PUMP SUPPLY/PURGE LINES FOR LEAKS
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Visually inspect the DEF Pump Supply/Purge lines for leaks.

      Are there any leaks present?

      Yes

      • Repair the DEF Pump Supply/Purge line(s) that are leaking. Then, begin this Diagnostics again starting with the 'DTC IS ACTIVE' Test Step.
      • Perform the PCM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to PCM VERIFICATION TEST .

      No

      • Go To  4
  4. CHECK THE (F203) DEF SUPPLY VOLTAGE CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN/HIGH RESISTANCE
    1. Turn the engine off.
    2. Disconnect the SCR Relay #1 (in the Auxiliary Power Distribution Center).
    3. Disconnect the PCM C1 harness connector.
    4. Disconnect the DEF Pump C1 harness connector.
