Set Condition

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 RAM 3500 HD and 2013 RAM 2500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Exhaust Temperature Sensor Signal 1/5 circuit is below 0.13 Volts for two seconds. A default value will be used for the Exhaust Temperature Sensor 1/5 and active DEF injection will be disabled. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) will illuminate the amber CHECK ENGINE lamp and Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) immediately after diagnostic runs and fails. The PCM will turn off the MIL lamp immediately after the diagnostic runs and passes in three consecutive drive cycles.
