Diagnostic Test

ACTIVE DTC
NOTE:
Check the DEF System for any visual signs of tampering.
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With the scan tool check for active DTCs.
  Are there any other DEF System DTCs present?
  
  Yes
  - Diagnose and repair those DTCs before continuing.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  No
  - Go To 2
ACTIVE DTC

Yes
- If this DTC is present, the DEF Tank is Empty causing a de-rate of 5 mph. A minimum of two and a half gallons of approved Diesel Exhaust Fluid must be added.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION - 6.7L. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
