Module, Keyless Ignition Node (Kin): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the lower steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL .

  3. Reach behind the KIN (1) and disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector (2).

  4. Remove four (1) retaining screws.
  5. Remove the KIN from the vehicle.
