Gas - Left Side

- If the battery tray is new, transfer the battery spacer from the old tray to the new tray.
- Seat the battery tray for installation.
- Install the two lower battery tray bolts (1).
- Install the left front wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE
.
- Install four bolts (1) securing the battery tray to the fender wall.
- Install the three bolts (2) and remove the support bracket (1) behind the headlight.
- Install the radiator cover by removing two clips (1).
- Install the wire harness retainers (1) to the battery tray assembly including those in the PDC portion of the tray.
- Install the clips (1) at the PDC base.
- Clip all wiring harness wire hold downs (1) on the battery tray. There are 6 hold downs.
- Install the B+ cable bolt (1) at the PDC.
- If equipped and removed from the battery tray, install the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). Refer to HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU), INSTALLATION .
- Install the battery. Refer to BATTERY, INSTALLATION .
