6.7L Diesel

  1. Disconnect and isolate both of the both negative battery cables.
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL, 6.7L .

    NOTE:

    The water pump is removed by sliding it under the generator pulley.

  5. Remove the bolts (1, 3) and the water pump (2).
  6. Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
