6.7L Diesel

- Clean the gasket sealing surfaces. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE
.
- Install a NEW
O-ring seal (1) on water pump (2).
- Install the water pump (2) with the weep hole facing downward and tighten the bolts (1) to 24 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).
- Install the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
- Install the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION, 6.7L .
- Connect both of the negative battery cables.
- Evacuate air and refill the cooling system. Refer to PUMP, WATER, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Start and warm the engine and check for leaks.
