Diagnostic Test

ACTIVE DTC
NOTE:
If DTCs P1207, P1208, P1209, P1240, or P1241 are present, repair those DTCs before proceeding.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
3. Turn the ignition off for 75 seconds.
4. Start the engine and let idle for up to five minutes.
5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Did the DTC reset?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
BATTERY
1. Load test both batteries.
  Did both batteries pass the load test?
  
  Yes
  - Replace Generator 2 in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  No
  - Replace the weak battery in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
