Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR ACTIVE DTC
NOTE:
If DTCs P2481, P2482, P2483, P24D0, U04A4, or U02A3 are present, perform the diagnostics for those DTCs before continuing with this one.
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. Using the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Is this DTC active?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
CHECK FOR TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN OR SOFTWARE UPDATE
1. Check for any applicable Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) or PCM Software Updates.
  Are there any TSBs or PCM Software Updates that address this DTC?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the appropriate repair outlined in the TSB.
  - If there is a software update, use the scan tool to reflash the PCM with the latest calibration.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Replace the Particulate Matter (PM) Sensor in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to SENSOR, PARTICULATE MATTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
