Diagnostic Test

  1. INTERMITTENT CONDITION 
    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. With the scan tool, clear all TIPM DTCs.
    3. Turn the Washers on.
    4. With the scan tool, read the Wiper/Washers DTCs.

      Does the scan tool read: B2376-REAR WIPER SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT?

      Yes 

      • Go to step  2

      No 

  2. REAR WIPER MOTOR 
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the Rear Wiper Motor connector.
    3. Turn the ignition on.
    4. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

      Does the scan tool read: B2376-REAR WIPER SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT?

      Yes 

      • Go to step  3

      No 

  3. (W13) REAR WIPER MOTOR CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORTED

    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the Rear Wiper Motor harness connector.
    3. Disconnect the TIPM C6 harness connector.
    4. Measure the resistance between the (W13) Rear Wiper Motor Control Circuit and ground in the TIPM.

      Is the resistance below 5.0 Ohms?

      Yes 

      No
