Diagnostic Test

INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, clear all TIPM DTCs.
3. Turn the Wipers ON then OFF.
4. With the scan tool, read the Wiper DTCs.
  Does the scan tool read: B2375-MIST SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT?
  
  Yes
  - Go to step 2
  No
  - The condition that caused the symptom is currently not present. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals and correct pin tension.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM) - Standard Procedure .
WIPER MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Using the correct service procedure, remove the Wiper Multi-Function Switch.
3. Measure the internal resistance of the Multifunction Switch between cavities 1 and 2. Move the switch into the MIST position while measuring.
