Diagnostic Test

- INTERMITTENT CONDITION
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, clear all TIPM DTCs.
- Turn the Wipers ON then OFF.
- With the scan tool, read the Wiper DTCs.
Does the scan tool read: B2375-MIST SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT?
Yes
- Go to step 2
No
- The condition that caused the symptom is currently not present. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals and correct pin tension.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM) - Standard Procedure .
- WIPER MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH
- Turn the ignition off.
- Using the correct service procedure, remove the Wiper Multi-Function Switch.
- Measure the internal resistance of the Multifunction Switch between cavities 1 and 2. Move the switch into the MIST position while measuring.
- MIST = 650 Ohms
