Section 79 (Interior & Exterior (1 Of 2)): Exterior: Fender-Front: Removal

- Remove the headlamp housing from the side of the vehicle being serviced. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/HEADLAMP UNIT - REMOVAL) .
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- If servicing the right front fender, remove the right side rail splash shield (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/SPLASH SHIELD-RIGHT SIDE RAIL - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the front wheelhouse splash shield from the side of the vehicle being serviced (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/SPLASH SHIELD-FRONT WHEELHOUSE - REMOVAL) .
- If servicing the right front fender, remove the antenna body and cable.
- Remove the three fender to fascia nuts (Refer to FRAME & BUMPERS/BUMPERS/FASCIA-FRONT - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the two bolts (4) that secure the bottom of the front fender (3) to the lower rocker panel.
- Remove the bolt (5) that secures rear of the front fender to the side cowl panel.
- Remove the nut (6) that secures the front of the front fender to the frame support bracket (7).
- Remove the three bolts (2) that secure the top of the front fender to the three spring nuts (1) and remove the fender.
