Section 79 (Interior & Exterior (1 Of 2)): DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate: Latch: Installation

Position the decklid latch (6) into the decklid (5) and install the two retaining bolts (7). Tighten the bolts securely.
Connect the lock cylinder link (1) to the latch and install the retainer clip. Make sure the retainer clip is fully engaged.
Connect the decklid latch wire harness to the body wire harness.
Reconnect the negative battery cable.
Verify decklid lock cylinder and latch operation.
Install the decklid trim panel (Refer to BODY/DECKLID/PANEL-TRIM - INSTALLATION) .
