Section 79 (Interior & Exterior (1 Of 2)): DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate: Cylinder-Lock: Installation

- Position the lock cylinder (3) with a new gasket (4) to the decklid (5).
- Install the retainer clip (2) that secures the lock cylinder to the decklid. Make sure the retainer clip is fully engaged to the lock cylinder.
- Connect the lock cylinder link (1) to the lock cylinder and install the retainer clip. Make sure the retainer clip is fully engaged.
- Install the decklid trim panel (Refer to BODY/DECKLID/PANEL-TRIM - INSTALLATION) .
- Reconnect the negative battery cable.
- Verify decklid lock cylinder and latch (6) operation.
