Section 78 (HVAC Systems (Service Information)): Distribution: Outlets-Air: Installation

NOTE: Center bezel air outlet shown in illustration. Other instrument panel air outlets similar.

Position the air outlet(s) (2) onto the bezel or cover (3) (depending on application).
Install the three screws or nuts (1) (depending on application) that secure the air outlet(s) to the bezel or cover. Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.).
Depending on the outlet being serviced, install the instrument cluster bezel (Refer to BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/BEZEL-CLUSTER - INSTALLATION) , instrument panel center bezel, (Refer to BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/BEZEL-CENTER - INSTALLATION) or the passenger side airbag cover (Refer to ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS/COVER-PASSENGER AIRBAG - INSTALLATION) .
