Motor/Module - Sunroof: Installation

NOTE:
Before installing a new motor/module or the original motor/module ensure that the sunroof glass panel is in the FULLY CLOSED POSITION. If sunroof glass panel is not in the FULLY CLOSED POSITION, (Refer to ELECTRICAL/POWER TOP/MOTOR - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
- Ensure that sunroof assembly is in the FULLY CLOSED position before mounting the motor/module. If not in the fully closed position (Refer to ELECTRICAL/POWER TOP/MOTOR - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
- Place motor/module into position on the sunroof housing and install attaching screws. Tighten the screws to 3.5 N.m (31 in. lbs.) torque.
- Connect the motor/module, and sunroof switch wire connectors.
- Install sunroof glass panel (Refer to BODY/SUNROOF/GLASS PANEL - INSTALLATION) .
- Connect the battery negative cable.
- Perform the motor/module initialization procedure, (Refer to ELECTRICAL/POWER TOP/MOTOR - STANDARD PROCEDURE - MOTOR/MODULE INITIALIZATION) .
- Verify sunroof operation and alignment, and adjust as necessary. (Refer to BODY/SUNROOF/GLASS PANEL - ADJUSTMENTS) .
- Disconnect and isolate battery negative cable.
- Installing the headliner (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/HEADLINER - INSTALLATION) .
- Install sunroof opening trim lace. (Refer to BODY/SUNROOF/OPENING TRIM LACE - INSTALLATION) .
- Install the sunroof switch, (Refer to ELECTRICAL/POWER TOP/SWITCH - INSTALLATION) .
- Install the map lamps/mini console.
- Install sun visors (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/SUN VISOR - INSTALLATION) .
- Install A-pillar trim (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/A-PILLAR TRIM - INSTALLATION) .
- Connect the battery negative cable.
