Attach the reservoir to the vehicle using two mounting bolts. Tighten the mounting bolts to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).

1 - FLUID RESERVOIR

2 - SUPPLY HOSE

3 - PRESSURE HOSE

Slide the supply hose (2) onto the reservoir fitting. Expand the hose clamp and slide it over the hose on the reservoir fitting. Secure the clamp once it is past the bead formed into the fluid reservoir fitting.

Slide the return hose (2) onto the reservoir fitting. Expand the hose clamp and slide it over the hose on the reservoir fitting. Secure the clamp once it is past the bead formed into the fluid reservoir fitting.
Install the engine air cleaner. (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) or (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) .
Install the engine top appearance cover.
Fill fluid reservoir to proper level. (Refer to STEERING/PUMP/FLUID - STANDARD PROCEDURE - POWER STEERING FLUID LEVEL CHECKING) .
Start engine and let run for a few seconds, then turn engine off.
Add fluid if necessary.
Install reservoir filler cap.
