Interior & Exterior (1 Of 2): DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate: Cylinder-Lock: Installation

1. Position the lock cylinder (3) with a new gasket (4) to the decklid (5).
2. Install the retainer clip (2) that secures the lock cylinder to the decklid. Make sure the retainer clip is fully engaged to the lock cylinder.
3. Connect the lock cylinder link (1) to the lock cylinder and install the retainer clip. Make sure the retainer clip is fully engaged.
4. Install the decklid trim panel (Refer to BODY/DECKLID/PANEL-TRIM - INSTALLATION)  .
5. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
6. Verify decklid lock cylinder and latch (6) operation.
