Center High Mounted Stop Lamp Unit - Pt27: Installation

  1. Position Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) Unit onto decklid.
  2. Install the two retaining nuts to the CHMSL Unit. See Figure. Torque nuts to 2.5 N.m (22 in. lbs.).
  3. Connect the CHMSL Unit electrical connector. See Figure.
  4. Install the decklid trim panel. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  5. Close decklid.
  6. Connect the battery negative cable.
  7. Close hood.
  8. Verify vehicle and system operation.
