Interior & Exterior (2 Of 2): Interior: Liftgate: Cylinder-Lock: Removal

NOTE: Do not remove the E-clip from the back of the lock cylinder.

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the latch control (Refer to BODY/DECKLID/HATCH/LIFTGATE/TAILGATE/CONTROL-LATCH - REMOVAL) .
3. Disengage the retainer clip that secures the lock cylinder (2) to the liftgate (1) and remove the lock cylinder and gasket.
