Removal & Installation (Sebring Convertible)

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Move front seat to full rearward position. Disconnect electrical connectors to seat belt buckle/pretensioner assembly. Remove seat belt buckle mounting nut and discard. Remove seat belt buckle/pretensioner assembly. See Figure.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Install NEW seat belt buckle/pretensioner mounting nut and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . DO NOT connect negative battery cable at this time. Perform air bag system check. See AIR BAG SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK.
