Removal & Installation

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Remove over-steering column cover by lifting up with firm pull. Remove 4 instrument cluster bezel retaining screws and bezel. Remove instrument cluster retaining screws and rotate top of cluster outward. Disconnect instrument cluster electrical connector and remove cluster.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Do not connect battery cable at this time. Perform air bag system check. See AIR BAG SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK.
