Retrieving Fault Codes

Ensure ignition switch in is OFF position. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located under left side of instrument panel, to right side steering column. See Fig 1. Follow scan tool manufacturers instruction to retrieve codes. If scan tool cannot communicate with SRS-ECU, see SCAN TOOL (MUT-II) CANNOT COMMUNICATE WITH SRS .
